Augustine Trees, Inc. is a small, owner-operated business serving Boulder County and the surrounding areas. We care about trees and the people who live under them.
We believe that trees (and other plants) can add to your life by improving the appearance of your property, increasing your property value, lowering utility bills, producing food, and helping you to mindfully enjoy the rythmn of nature's yearly cycle.
Growing up in the suburbs of Philadelphia, I was trained in plant establishment, water/soil/plant relationships, shrub care (particularly in formal garden settings), and pruning of ornamentals and fruit trees. During my college and just post-college years, I helped build and run a successful family business now celebrating its 25th year in business (www.GoebelLandscaping.com). When I moved west in 1993, I began to learn large tree pruning, technical climbing and rigging, and crane removals. Now a Cerified Arborist with over 15 years experience, I am eager to help you with any of your arborculture needs.
Before starting Augustine Trees, Inc., I helped develope a vocational sustainable agriculture program for special needs children in Window Rock Az, capital of the Navajo Nation. While I have left the non-profit realm for a while, I still firmly believe the basic precepts of the program: That most people, even those with special challenges, can save money, live healthier lives, help thier bio-region and help the planet by practicing local, sustainable agriculture techniques. As a business owner, I believe that happy customers, and great references from long term customers are the key to running a successful, reputable busiess.
